The Solid Carbon Block Filtering Advantage RainSoft's P-12 Hydrefiner filtering system goes beyond solving aesthetic problems. The disposable, triple filtration carbon block filter is constructed of materials approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The heart of the Hydrefiner system is the highly compressed carbon block filter made of selected activated carbons and polyethylenes to reduce chlorine, lead, and a wide range of chemical substances and volatile organic chemicals. Up to 830 gallons of drinking water can be produced before the cartridge has to be replaced, providing a system that lasts long and requires little maintenance. When a cartridge is ready to be changed, all it takes is a quick unlocking of the mid-section and the top comes right off, revealing the cartridge that's been providing the quality of water that you expect. |
